Financial Information
We offer two primary payment structures based on how you will pay for music therapy services or therapeutic music lessons.
Pay Ahead of Services
Our pay ahead of services model is required for anyone that we would invoice directly as the individual participant in services.
The pay ahead model is set up to be a flat rate per month, keeping your monthly bill to a consistent charge based on the frequency and length of sessions. The pay ahead model is generally set to charge the 1st of every month and can conveniently be set to automatic payments if you desire.
Invoice After Services
Our invoice after services model is typically utilized when invoices are sent to someone other than the direct participant (ex: funding source, insurance, community partner).
Invoices are sent out at the end of each month of services, reflecting all charges occurred during that month.
Typically, invoice after service participants are charged per session versus a flat rate per month.
Funding
We will help you explore funding options available to you!
Some participants pay out of pocket for our services directly. There may be funding sources available based on your exact circumstances. Please contact us to learn about funding sources you may be eligible for, or discuss this during your consultation or initial conversation.
With any funding source, there is no guarantee of amount of funding, renewal of funding, or other restrictions on the use of funds. The individual or agency completing paperwork for our services is financially responsbile in the event that the funding source does not remit payment for services.
Scholarships and Local Funds
Some participants receive scholarships from local organizations to help offset the cost of therapy. Additionally, county boards of developmental disabilities may have funding that you can utilize if you qualify.
Waivers
Some participants cover the cost of music therapy through their Participant Directed Goods and Services. If you have a state waiver, please discuss this option with your case manager.
Insurance
Music therapy services may be covered under your insurance plan. Services are covered on a case-by-case basis depending on your insurance carrier, diagnostic codes, and treatment needs. There is no guarantee for insurance coverage.
